Sonographer
Key Responsibilities:

Complete onboarding and training requirements to perform clinical trial visits

Provide availability, confirm visit acceptance, communicate with clinical trial/program participant/patient
-
Prepare for the clinical trial visit by gathering supplies and equipment, testing the equipment, verifying expiration dates and determining visit readiness

Travel to location of clinical trial/program participant

Perform clinical trial visit activities within Sonographer scope of practice such as (but not limited to):
-
Conduct ultrasound examinations, including cardiac and vascular studies, according to established protocols.

Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

Explain procedures to patients, addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.

Obtain and analyze patient history and clinical information to tailor ultrasound examinations effectively.

Document and maintain accurate records of examinations and findings.
-
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to discuss findings and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
-
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Communicate with project team for any issues with may arise or concerns during visit

Ensure clinical trial visit is conducted according to ICH/GCP and accuracy of data collected during the visit
Position Requirements:
-
Experienced Sonograhers with Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.

Experience and knowledge of working in clinical research trials preferred

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to complete detailed data

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

Technology savvy

Ability to travel locally or across states lines based on licensure
Location:
This position requires Sonographers travel to the location of the study/program participant/patient. Travel may be local or across state lines based on licensure to practice.
