We're hiring Shop Assistants / Manufacturing Associates for a clean, modern manufacturing facility that has been serving customers for over 70 years. Whether you have manufacturing experience or are mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we provide the training you need to succeed.
Auto body, fabrication, construction, maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience is a plus—but not required.
Schedule
2nd Shift
- Monday-Thursday
- 3:00 PM-1:00 AM
OR
3rd Shift
- Monday-Thursday
- 9:00 PM-7:00 AM
Training Requirement:
Candidates must be available to complete training on 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM).
Pay
- Starting at $17.00 per hour
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Weekly pay
Responsibilities
As a Shop Assistant, you'll help support daily manufacturing operations by:
- Performing light assembly and production work
- Pulling materials for production
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Deburring metal parts according to blueprints
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Operating shop equipment after training, including:
- Press Brake
- Grinders
- Paint and Powder Coating equipment
- Operating a forklift (training provided if needed)
- Assisting other departments as production needs require
- Following all quality and safety procedures
Qualifications
We're looking for dependable individuals who are:
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Willing to learn new skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to read blueprints (preferred)
- Able to lift, move, and safely handle materials
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
