Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across residential homes, offices, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care
- Maintain high standards of sanitation in kitchens and bathrooms by disinfecting surfaces and fixtures thoroughly
- Care for floors by applying appropriate cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, or waxing to ensure durability and shine
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously during visits
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage janitorial responsibilities including trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining storage areas efficiently
Requirements
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and custodial procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and laundry machines safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
