As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by collecting blood samples for laboratory testing. Duties:
- Perform blood sampling and venipuncture on patients of all ages
- Utilize proper techniques to ensure accurate and safe collection of blood specimens
- Label and process collected specimens for transport to the clinical laboratory
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy supplies and equipment
- Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel to various locations
