We are a small, established residential gardening company, providing personalized long term care of our clients gardens. Many of our clients have been with us 10-20 years and so have a few employees. We build lasting relationships with the gardens, clients and team members. With small crews, each person needs to contribute, work hard, and be reliable for the team to succeed and enjoy their work.
We love and care about the work we do, and need new team members to do the same. Physical, outdoor, sometimes labor intense/sometimes picky, work. Take pride in our work, treat clients and fellow employees with respect and rest well at the end of the day.
Duties include:
Planting-annuals, containers, perennials, shrubs
Weeding
Pruning/dead heading flowering plants
Shrub trimming
Mulching/soil additions
Garden clean ups- Fall leaf pick up
Fertilizing
Identify and treat plant pests and disease
Use of hand and power gardening tools
Irrigation monitor/repairs
Light landscape jobs
Work is M-F 730-330, 35-40hrs/week(part time option availble 2- 3 days) 4 day week also option
Seasonal March-beginning of December (prefer returning year to year, seasonal unemployment option)
Need reliable car to get to work
Must be able to work outdoors on feet all day. Lift 25+lbs. Work well with a small crew, and be open to learning a lot. Follow directions, as well as take charge and get things done. Be very reliable, small crew is counting on you! Some gardening experience is needed, at least 1year preferred. Pay based on experience. Paid time off, retirement plan, bonuses all extra perks.
