About the Role
As a Precision Tooling Specialist, you will serve as a vital contributor to our manufacturing excellence by engineering, building, and refining the high-precision dies and fixtures that drive our production output. Your expertise in metal forming and machining will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities-
Engineer and construct high-tolerance precision tools, progressive dies, and custom fixtures to meet rigorous production requirements.

Proactively maintain and refurbish tooling assets to maximize operational uptime and extend equipment life cycles.

Partner with engineering teams to optimize tool designs, enhancing overall manufacturing throughput and process reliability.

Execute complex machining operations including milling, turning, grinding, and precision EDM to achieve exact specifications.

Perform comprehensive quality audits and dimensional inspections to ensure all tooling meets stringent engineering tolerances.

Maintain meticulous documentation of tool specifications, modification histories, and maintenance logs.

Uphold a culture of safety and operational excellence by maintaining a highly organized and efficient workspace.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Demonstrated professional experience in tool and die making within a manufacturing environment.

Advanced proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, technical schematics, and engineering drawings.

Expertise in metal stamping, progressive die systems, and tool/die/mold setup procedures.

Strong technical knowledge of CNC operations and manual machining processes.

Technical degree or formal certification in Toolmaking, Machining, or a related mechanical field.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective corrective actions.
