Laboratory Technician Acrelabs — Cannabis & Hemp Analytical Testing
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Position Overview We are seeking a Chemist to support sample preparation of cannabis and hemp products for compliance testing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented laboratory professional with experience with sample preparation who thrives in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
- Perform preparation of samples for analytical testing.
- Assist in data acquisition and report preparation.
- As assigned, support and/or lead laboratory processes and operations improvement projects.
- As assigned, assist with the upkeep and improvement of elements of the quality management system and our training program.
- As assigned, clean and maintain the laboratory and equipment.
- Performance of other laboratory and clerical duties such as data entry, filing, or supply inventory and assumption of other responsibilities on an as-needed basis or as delegated.
Skills and Experience
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Strong time management skills and can quickly learn and use a variety of office and laboratory computer applications.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, work independently and within a group.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
- Must be available to work an occasional night or weekend as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory environment.
- Experience using instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, GCMS, ICPMS.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.
- A degree in chemical, biological, or life sciences from an accredited university.
