Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Diagnose and repair pipe, drainage, and plumbing system issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Repair and maintain septic systems and commercial sewer systems
- Provide accurate written estimates for plumbing work
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and code compliance
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Qualifications
- 2+ year of service plumbing experience
- Either a State of Illinois Journeyman License or City of Chicago Journeyman License
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Physically able to perform hands-on labor in various environments
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
