Position Overview:
A Pumper will fill, label, and prepare gas cylinders and operate a cryogenic liquid filling system while prioritizing safety and attention to detail. A candidate's experience in this industry is great, but either way we will teach you this important trade from the ground up.
Essential Functions:
- Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
- Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling
- Check for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product
- Load and unload product from daily delivery truck
- Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment
- Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
- Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understand Compliance issues and safety-sensitive areas
- Ability to operate or willingness to train for forklift operation
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, volume shipping distribution center
- Exceptional teamwork skills and maintains good relations with team members to ensure deliveries consistently arrive on time
- Must possess appropriate mathematical and analytical skills to determine the acceptability of the product(s) based on established criteria
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Effective communication with internal and external customers, both orally and in writing

Pay Range:
Starting at $22.00, depending on experience and schooling. Overtime opportunities available.
