Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately while handling cash and card transactions securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in setting up bar areas for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized.
- Monitor guest behavior in nightclub or bar settings to promote a safe environment while delivering an energetic vibe.
- Manage time efficiently during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving drinks promptly, taking orders, and managing multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments with a strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple responsibilities under pressure.
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, beverage preparation, and alcohol serving laws.
- Previous retail math experience beneficial for cashiering duties during busy hours.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality venues.
- Experience with brewing or catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
