- Current RN licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
- Required Educational Requirement; applicant must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor degree in Nursing OR Associate degree or diploma in Nursing and a Master degree in Nursing.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years recent (with in the last four (4) years) wound and/or ostomy direct patient care experience in the acute care setting.
- Must obtain WOCN certification within one (1) year of hire.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Michigan Nurses Association and the U-M Professional Nurse Council union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
