We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Job Type: Full-time, 6 days per week excluding Sundays
- Paid training at $140.00 per day
Duties
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Load and unload packages using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, handling heavy lifting with care and precision.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation for all shipments.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns during deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist in warehouse activities when not on route, including moving inventory and supporting loading/unloading processes.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong track record in route driving.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driver’s license suitable for commercial vehicles; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and operating commercial vehicles.
