QAE is hiring experienced Third Party Vendor Surveillance Inspectors to support projects throughout the Wisconsin and Illinois region.
This role is responsible for performing visual inspections of materials and fabricated equipment at vendor shops, on-site fabrication facilities, and testing locations. The inspector helps verify that work is being performed according to project requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of materials and/or fabricated equipment at vendor shops and field-related facilities.
- Review fabrication, testing, and inspection activities for compliance with applicable specifications and quality requirements.
- Support inspections involving quality control testing, nondestructive testing, mechanical testing, dimensional inspection, pressure testing, and coating inspections.
- Provide clear inspection updates, documentation, and reporting to support project visibility and accountability.
Preferred Experience
Qualified candidates should have strong experience in quality control inspections and vendor surveillance.

- Control Valve
- NACE
- CWI
- NDT
- Mechanical Testing
- Dimensional Inspection
- Pressure Testing
- Coating Inspections
