Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, and social skills.
- Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort at all times.
- Manage classroom activities that support physical activity, fine motor skills, language acquisition, and emotional regulation.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and milestones through meetings and written updates.
- Apply effective classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and a respectful learning environment.
- Incorporate special education principles and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress, attendance records, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is essential.
- Must pass a fingerprint background check
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in health and safety protocols is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards such as Montessori or preschool teaching methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions among toddlers.
- Experience with literacy education, math concepts, physical education activities, and standardized testing procedures for early learners is desirable.
