AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisor Functions
- Leading by example and inspire high functioning clinical care teams to exceed expectations of patients and providers
- Perform day-to-day oversight and direction of clinical operations
- Work in direct collaboration with the Director of Clinics
- Communicating and collaborating to implement standardized evidenced-based practices consistent with the organization and across locations
- Directing and acting as a coach for staff on best practices serving patients, efficiency gains and enhance practice performance
- Developing and reporting metrics for measuring practice performance internally and against industry benchmarks
- Work closely with the Manager of Clinics to ensure that expectations of the patients and providers are met
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic staff
- Assists the Manger of Clinics and/or Director of Clinics with equipment maintenance
Essential Functions
- Provides direct patient care with providers, assists with triage, administers injections and collect blood specimens when needed
- Conducts regular chart, records or file reviews, ensuring that all appropriate record-keeping is performed on a timely basis and that the governing agency regulations, legal, ethical and licensing standards are met

- Attends meetings as required by the Director
- Provides training and onboarding support for new staff
- Participates in quality assurance, quality improvements and utilization review activities and makes recommendations to managers for plans of correction
- Conducts competency assessments of clinical staff members
- Travel between clinics in Colfax, Tekoa, St. John, and Garfield as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
EMR
- Maintain WHMC clinical components pertaining to Centricity or other EMR platforms
- Assist with existing and ongoing requirements pertaining to EMR
- Maintain and provide support/planning for scheduled updates/upgrades for WHMC clinics
- Provide training and support to clinical staff and providers on new workflows and EMR platforms
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Licensed as an RN in the State of Washington
- AHA BLS certified and maintained while employed
- One year previous clinic experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Strong leadership, facilitation, time management, and project management skills.
- Skilled in dealing with multi-disciplinary teams and an appreciation in working effectively with competing priorities.
- Solid knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) and/or other information systems functionality including access, reports and system controls
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Clinic - Leadership
This position is primarily worked in a clinical and office environment. This may include irregular working hours including weekends and on-call responsibilities. Travel to off-site locations for meetings, education and training may be required. The position will frequently require walking, lifting, reaching carrying, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of objects weighing up to 20lbs. The position will occasionally require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds, as well as require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently. Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation. All basic life functions such as hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required.
