- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred, with emphasis in education, business, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- Three years of professional experience, with preference for experience in the field of education.
- Experience managing and analyzing data with statistical programs.
- Experience in K-12 education, either as an educator or other professional, preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge and understanding of the laws that govern students’ state and federal rights.
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills with attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate, both in writing and orally, technical information in a way that is understandable to people without technical training. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of staff, various departments, and external agencies.
- Ability to provide statistically sound reports to meet division and state requirements, using appropriate tools.
- Ability to use discretion, handle sensitive and confidential information, while maintaining confidentiality and ethical conduct.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- Reliable transportation, necessary
- Travel between schools, LCS buildings, and local areas, required at times
