Overview:
We are seeking an EXPEREINCED passionate and dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will be essential as you interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments throughout the day. This position requires a hands-on approach to animal care and excellent customer service skills to ensure both pets and their owners have a positive experience.

Thursday & Friday - Hours 10:30AM - 7PM
Every other Saturday & Sunday - Hours: 7AM-4 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Dog Care:
- Feeding, watering, and providing snacks according to individual dog needs.
- Taking dogs for walks and outdoor playtime. Experience with a prong collar is a plus.
- Monitoring dog behavior and providing appropriate interventions when necessary.
Playgroup Supervision:
- Supervising dogs in playgroups, ensuring they interact safely and positively.
- Maintaining a safe and clean play environment.
- Addressing any behavioral issues that arise with management.
Cleaning and Hygiene:
- Maintaining clean and hygienic kennels, play areas, and equipment.
- Cleaning up after dogs and ensuring the facility is sanitary.
Communication and Records:
- Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
- Keeping records of feeding schedules, walking times, and other relevant information.
- Reporting any health concerns to management or owners.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in dogs and owners.
- Following all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Participating in training programs on dog handling and behavior.
Qualifications:
- A love for animals and a willingness to care for them is essential.
- Experience working with dogs, especially in a daycare or boarding setting, is REQUIRED. 1-2 Year experience min.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with pet owners and other staff members.
- The ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments is required.
- Knowledge of dog behavior.
