Summary:
The Applications Trainer is responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the training environment and delivering end-user training and support.
Responsibilities:

Helps develop and maintain training materials, including but not limited to scripts and scenarios, and training schedules for applications that may be assigned.

Primary responsibility will be to deliver end-user training and support, using training materials and procedures that have been developed.

Participates in workflow design and system build in order to gain an in-depth knowledge of the why the system is built, complete with functionality and workflows.

Responsible for trouble shooting issues and questions and escalate immediately those which can be resolved to the Applications Solutions Analyst/ Lead Applications Solutions Analyst

Analyzes new functionality to identify educational needs/training methodologies and identify ways to make improvements in the education/training plans.

Serves as a training support contact between vendors, Application Solutions Analysts, and super-end users.

Technical Expertise

Strong background in system configuration, clinical/business systems analysis and design

Advanced organizational, analysis, and problem-solving skills required with an emphasis on attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.

Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required
Education and Experience

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field is preferred.

Certification: Area-specific certifications are required after hire.

Years of relevant experience: minimum 2 years of training experience is preferred.
