About Us
Shorty's Mexican Roadhouse is a high-energy Tex-Mex roadhouse known for bold flavors, Great drinks, and a fun, fast-paced atmosphere. We're looking for outgoing, hardworking servers to join our team and help deliver the Shorty's experience to every guest.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them promptly into our POS system
- Learn our menu inside and out — food, margaritas, and specials — so you can make real recommendations
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while keeping tables clean and guests happy
- Handle multiple tables at once during busy shifts without losing your cool
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit responsibly
- Work as part of a team with kitchen, bar, and host staff to keep service moving
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines
What We're Looking For
- Prior serving experience preferred, but we'll train the right attitude
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, energetic personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol (NH)
- Reliable, team-oriented, and guest-focused
