The Brand Ambassador leads demos and in-person events for retail partners like Whole Foods Market while upholding Joe Coffee Company's core values: Curiosity, Craft, Commitment, and Community. The Brand Ambassador drives inclusivity, connection, and enthusiasm while cultivating strong relationships with retail store teams and customers.
This role requires a spirited team member who is flexible, energetic, and passionate about coffee. Successful Brand Ambassadors commit to enlightened hospitality, approaching challenges with openness, compassion, and a progressive mindset.
The Brand Ambassador reports to the Senior Director of Wholesale and supports the execution of in-store product demonstrations and sampling events at grocery stores throughout the NYC area.

Introduce customers to Joe Coffee products and the Joe story

Drive product trials and encourage customer purchases

Represent Joe Coffee Company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and hospitality

Create engaging and welcoming experiences that reflect the Joe brand

Build positive relationships with store leadership and team members

Serve as a trusted brand representative within partner retail locations

Support strong partnerships through consistent communication and professionalism

Execute in-store product demonstrations and sampling events

Capture photos and visit notes following each store visit

Provide feedback on customer responses, competitive products, and retail trends

Support occasional local events, promotions, and community activations

Assist with loading, transporting, and setting up event materials as needed

Model exceptional hospitality in every customer interaction

Foster connection, curiosity, and enthusiasm around specialty coffee

Respond to customer questions and feedback with knowledge, care, and professionalism

Part-time seasonal role

Approximately 10–20 hours per week

Primarily weekends, with some weekday opportunities

Flexible scheduling based on the retail demo calendar

Ability to load in and load out supplies as needed
