NOW HIRING: Event Cooks
Location: Sacramento, CA
We are seeking experienced culinary professionals to join our event-based staffing team. This is a flexible, gig-style opportunity ideal for cooks who enjoy working a variety of events and kitchen environments.
Position Overview:
- Event-based, on-call culinary roles
- Shifts are posted by our staffing team; available team members may claim shifts on a first-come, first-served basis
- Work locations vary throughout the Sacramento area
- Weekly pay via direct deposit (Fridays)
Please note: This role does not include training. Applicants must have prior professional kitchen experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional cooking experience
- Ability to work multiple stations, including Line, Prep, Sauté, and Grill
- Must be at least 18 years or older to apply
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various event locations
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
- California Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain prior to working an event)
- Strong work ethic and a professional, positive attitude
Physical Demands:
- This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Uniform Requirements:
- Black or white chef coat
- Black pants
- Black non-slip shoes with black socks
