Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP): In-Home and Community & Supported Employment Services

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate and Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support our adult daughter with moderate autism, helping her achieve greater independence in her home, community, and workplace. This is a meaningful relationship-based position for someone who values structure, patience, and supporting independence.
Part-Time Flexible Positions Available:
- Week day shifts available: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays 8:30 PM to 3:00 PM
- Flexible overnights 6 PM-8:30 AM
- Services include in-home supports, community activities, and supported employment.
- On the job mileage reimbursement provided
Responsibilities:
- Provide mentoring, modeling, and personalized support in daily living activities
- Encourage community engagement and support participation in planned activities
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Assist with skill building, social interactions, and behavioral supports
- Support goals and outcomes outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP)
- Provide transportation for community outings as needed
- Provide job coaching and workplace support (ACRE certification required for supported employment)
- Attend monthly meetings with the team and behavioral specialist
- Communicate and document information/data accurately and collaboratively
- Integrate meaningful activities into the daily schedule to inspire new ideas, interests, and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Driver’s License, insured/registered/inspected vehicle
- Ability to pass background checks
- Experience with individuals with disabilities or autism is preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- Background in human services/social work is a plus (Not required)
- ACRE certification or equivalent is required to provide supported employment services
Compensation:
- $25/hour (IHCS & Supported Employment Services)
- $19/hour (Companion Services)/overnight shifts
- On the job Mileage Reimbursement
