UltraVend Services, Inc is a family-owned business that is headquartered in Addison, IL. We have been providing quality vending repair service, installation and relocation across the State of Illinois and Florida since 1982. The vending industry is a fast paced and evolving industry as vending technology is advancing. While the equipment is highly automated and advancing quickly with technology, there is a high demand for vending technicians. We are currently seeking a vending repair technician to join our team, who is located south of Illinois (e.g., Springfield, Decater, Peoria, Champaign etc.). Vending technicians are very highly sought after and by joining our team you will be given the opportunity to expand on your refrigeration/vending knowledge and become a valuable member of our growing team.
***ALL NEW HIRES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A 3-WEEK PAID TRAINNING PROGRAM AT OUR ADDISON, IL LOCATION PRIOR TO STARTING THE POSTION***
***A company vehicle is provided for all work-related travel and job duties***
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair of vending machines and other various refrigerated equipment. (Commercial coolers, freezers, etc.)
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers as necessary.
- Operate moving equipment and small hand tools, such as pallet jacks, dollies, drills, screw drivers, etc.
- Thoroughly complete appropriate paperwork that is required for each job.
- This position will occasionally involve working alongside another team member to relocate and move vending equipment.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to follow safety direction during training.
- Flexible Hours
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision upon successful completion of on-the-job training.
- Being on time and staying organized.
- Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds (Compressor decks, etc.)
- Strong hand-eye coordination
Qualifications:
- ALL NEW HIRES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A 3-WEEK PAID TRAINNING PROGRAM AT OUR ADDISON, IL LOCATION PRIOR TO STARTING THE POSTION.
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- Prefer: Vending related experience, including refrigeration, equipment installation, and/or service technician.
- Prefer: EPA Universal Certification (or in process of obtaining)
- Strong communication skills.
- Candidates MUST have a valid driver’s license and clean background, as this role involves access to federal and state facilities.

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
