Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Support food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper food handling, cleaning, and bussing tables.
- Assist with upselling menu items to boost sales and enhance the guest experience through friendly recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure quick service and smooth operations.
- Help with food prep tasks like chopping ingredients or assembling dishes in line with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for engaging with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
