- $15.5 per hour plus $300
- $2700 base monthly - rest is all comp.

## Position overview
American Dream Motors is an independent used-car and truck dealership looking for an Automotive Sales Consultant who can build
trust, communicate clearly, and help customers purchase the right vehicle without high-pressure sales tactics.
Our technology assists with lead response, reminders, and CRM organization. You handle the work that matters most: speaking
personally with customers, understanding their needs, showing vehicles, conducting test drives, following up, presenting approved
numbers, and asking for the sale.
## Responsibilities
- Assist scheduled appointments, internet leads, phone inquiries, and walk-in customers
- Understand each customer’s vehicle, budget, and transportation needs
- Recommend appropriate vehicles and explain their features and known condition accurately
- Conduct test drives and maintain strong knowledge of dealership inventory
- Present dealership-approved pricing and financing options
- Escalate pricing exceptions, trade values, lender decisions, and unapproved terms to management
- Follow up with customers by phone, text, and email
- Record customer interactions, notes, and next steps in the CRM
- Coordinate vehicle delivery and follow up after the sale
- Generate repeat and referral business through honest, respectful customer service
## Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required
- Experience in powersports, wireless, furniture, roofing, solar, retail, or another customer-facing sales role is welcome
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close sales
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Reliable attendance and professional conduct
- Comfortable using a CRM and maintaining accurate customer records
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the dealership’s insurer
- Able to complete a lawful background and motor-vehicle-record review
- Spanish-English bilingual ability is strongly preferred, but not required
## Virginia licensing
An active Virginia motor vehicle salesperson license is preferred but not required when applying.
The selected candidate will be hired as a W-2 employee and must complete the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board qualification and
licensing process. The employee may not sell vehicles until the dealership receives the approved license.
## Schedule
- Five scheduled days per week
- Saturday availability is required
- Dealership hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Closed Sundays, with one additional scheduled weekday off
