Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and serve food items, including basic food preparation tasks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, giving correct change and managing cash register operations with integrity.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist in food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly.
