Teddy Bear Corner is a private daycare center that has been opened for over 25 years creating a cozy, home-like environment that combines planned educational activities and spontaneous play for children between the ages of six weeks to five years. We have three locations, all located in Fairfield, CT.
We are currently looking to hire for part-time teacher's aide/floater positions, working varying hours, ideally Monday through Friday! We are also looking for staff members who can work additional hours, if possible. This position is perfect for high school or college students looking to work about 15-25 hours a week. If candidates are available to work additional hours, there is lots of flexibility in the schedule!
This is a year-round position and we are looking for a candidate who will continue to work throughout the remainder of the year (not just on school/college breaks). We are not open on Saturday or Sunday. Candidates with Early Childhood Education credits or ECE experience are preferred, but it is not required for this position. We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing and loves nothing more than to put a smile on the faces of the children in his/her classroom.
Since this floater position does not require any formal ECE experience or education and is part time, it is slightly above minimum wage.
