Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to manage daily administrative operations within our clinic. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, including patient coordination, billing, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a vital healthcare setting by ensuring efficient clinic functioning and excellent patient service.
Duties
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and intake procedures with professionalism and efficiency.
- Perform insurance verification, billing, and collections utilizing Drchrono EMR
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including care plans, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), and billing information.
- Utilize Drchrono to document clinical notes and facilitate seamless communication among healthcare providers.
- Support front desk operations by handling multi-line phone systems, patient inquiries, and appointment scheduling with excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with office management tasks including filing, data entry (10 key typing), and maintaining office supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Help manage basic HR and payroll related tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical billing, coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and documentation review processes.
- Experience with EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management practices.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical office management software.
- Demonstrated experience in medical administrative support within a clinical setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills combined with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and billing processes.

Pay: $24.81 - $29.87 per hour
