About the Role
We're seeking a Territory Manager to join our sales team and take ownership of established territories.
This is a field-based outside sales position focused on relationship building, business development, and account growth. You'll spend the majority of your time visiting jewelry stores throughout your territory, strengthening existing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and helping customers maximize their success.
This role offers significant autonomy and is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, highly organized, and energized by building relationships and driving results. Jewelry industry experience is welcome, but it is not required. We are equally interested in candidates with strong sales experience, a consultative approach, and a proven ability to develop business.
Territory 10
Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and portions of Tennessee
Ideal candidates will be located in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Southern Virginia
Key Responsibilities
Territory Development & Account Growth
- Manage and grow an assigned territory of independent jewelry retailers while developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships
- Create and execute territory sales plans aligned with monthly, seasonal, and annual objectives and consistently achieve or exceed sales goals
- Build long-term partnerships through exceptional service, ongoing support, and a consultative approach to account management
Customer Success & Sales Support
- Conduct regular in-store visits throughout the territory and deliver product presentations, sales training, and merchandising support including assistance with store displays
- Help retailers maximize product performance and profitability while serving as a trusted advisor and resource for store owners and sales teams
Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at major industry trade shows and events while participating in sales meetings, customer presentations, and networking opportunities
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs and share market intelligence and customer feedback with internal teams to support future growth and product development
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of outside sales, territory management, or related field sales experience
- Proven success developing and growing customer relationships
- Experience managing a multi-state sales territory
- Strong business development and prospecting skills
- A “hunter” mentality with a proactive, self-driven approach to identifying and pursuing new business
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and territory planning abilities
- Comfortable utilizing technology, including tablets, CRM systems, and mobile applications
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
- Jewelry industry experience is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Travel Requirements
This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel throughout your territory.
- Primarily Monday through Friday schedule
- Travel is conducted by car
- Annual sales meeting in Minneapolis
- Attendance at approximately two to three industry trade shows per year
- Business travel expenses are covered, including mileage reimbursement, hotels, and daily meal allowances.
