Job Objectives: Supports the analysis of daily and short-term system operations and assists in the development of procedures and guidelines to ensure the safe, reliable, and economic operation of the power system and lake system.
Essential Job Tasks:
- Assists in evaluating forecasted construction and scheduled transmission outages.
- Supports Next Day Study (NDS) analysis and participate in VACAR Next Day conference calls .
- Assists in preparing daily generation dispatch studies and related analysis.
- Supports reliability studies for system restoration and planned maintenance activities.
- Assists in maintaining and updating study models, databases, and internal tools.
- Develops a working knowledge of Energy Management System (EMS) applications and processes.

Engineer I
Compensation Information:
$75,500 -$94,350 (min. - mid.)
Engineer II
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited University or College + 2 years experience.
- Fundamental of Engineering license is preferred.
Compensation Information:
$84,180 - $105,210 (min. - mid.)
Engineer III
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited University or College + 5 years experience.
- Fundamental of Engineering license is required.
Compensation Information:
$93,830 - $117,290 (min. - mid.)
