Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as sorting, peeling, and organizing ingredients when required.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy pots, trays, or boxes to prevent injury.
- Ensure all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment are sanitized regularly to meet sanitation standards.
- Handle food safely during cleaning processes by adhering to food handling protocols.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing dishware and supplies in designated storage areas.
- Support kitchen staff during busy service periods by providing timely assistance with dishwashing and cleanup.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts.
