Join our dynamic team as an Evening Shift Weekday Cashier, working from 1pm to 9pm! As a cashier, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, handles transactions efficiently, and ensures a smooth shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail math, POS systems, and retail services.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases or inquiries in a lively, engaging manner
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, voids, etc
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station/register and entry areas
- Stock displays, shelves, and coolers in the front end area
- Search POS system inventory to check product stock for customers
- Call for the retrieval of cases of wine, liquor, etc via walkie talkies
- Politely and cordially answer phone calls
- MUST be available for evening shift, 1pm to 9pm during weekdays; Monday-Thursday
Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and calculations
- Experience in multitasking and time management skills
- Must be 18 or older and eligible to hold a Forsyth County Alcohol Serving Permit
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
