Our client, a leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical research organization, is seeking a Screening Data Coordinator to join their team. As a Research Associate, you will be part of the Research Operations Department supporting Screening Sciences, In Vitro Pharmacology, and External CRO Partner Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Research Associate
Location: Groton CT or La Jolla, CA
Pay Range: Competitive; based on experience
- Maintain and update external screening data repositories, vendor portals, and project records.
- Process screening requests, perform data validation and quality control, and distribute accurate data to scientists.
- Coordinate with external CROs and vendors to monitor deliverables and resolve workflow or data issues.
- Support transfer of plate-based screening assays by organizing protocols, controls, and supporting documentation.
- Receive, format, publish, and manage screening data using standardized templates and data-loading tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience with scientific data management, data workflows, and quality control in a research environment.
- Knowledge of plate-based screening assays and data analysis/QC processes preferred.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors, CROs, or outsourced research partners preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
