Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and a holistic approach to promote overall well-being. This role involves working collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and support their journey toward mental health recovery.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as art therapy and clinical counseling.
- Implement case management strategies to coordinate care and support for clients, including chronic pain counseling as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition using ICD-10 coding.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients, including understanding medical terminology and psychopharmacology.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities that promote emotional expression and healing.
- Offer Christian counseling when requested, respecting the diverse backgrounds of all clients.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of practice.
- Experience in individual group counseling and case management preferred.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation.
- Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to create effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
- Previous experience or training in art therapy is a plus.
