A leading international law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing issuers, underwriters, investment banks, financial institutions, and public companies in sophisticated capital markets transactions.
- 2+ years of capital markets, securities, finance, or corporate transactional experience
- Experience with public and private securities offerings, debt offerings, equity offerings, and related capital markets transactions preferred
- Experience representing issuers, underwriters, sponsors, or financial institutions
- Experience drafting and negotiating offering documents, purchase agreements, underwriting agreements, and related transaction documents
- Familiarity with securities law compliance, disclosure obligations, and corporate governance matters is a plus
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage transactions while working directly with clients and deal teams
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
