Starting Pay
Election Official - $16/hr
Election Office Assistant - $18/hr
Certified Election Official - $18/hr
Chief Inspector - $21/hr
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Assist in greeting voters and establish they are at the correct voting location

Ensure voters have the correct documents to register to vote and receive their ballot

Set up the polling place

Register voters and check in voters that are already registered

Issue ballots

Process absentee ballots

Monitor election equipment

Tally write-in votes
