Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver fracsand in a safe and a timely manner , ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, with sandboxes , , and tractor-trailers, will be essential to maintaining our high standards of service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and security.
- Transport fracsand from sandplant short hauls of 70 miles radius with a specialized trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel economy and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times, load status, and any issues encountered during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Experience with various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload freight manually or with equipment like forklifts; familiarity with freight handling procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement practices.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers.
- Physical ability to perform the demands of long hours on the road and manual tasks associated with freight handling.
