Bike & Kayak Tours, Inc. is hiring for both full and part time BEACH CREW positions for the La Jolla Shores location. Do you want to come home with a tan and feeling like you worked out all day on the beach? This job is for you.
WE CAN WORK AROUND SCHOOL, OTHER JOBS OR OTHER COMMITTMENTS! WE NEED PEOPLE THAT ARE WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS BUT WEEKDAY SHIFTS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE. THIS IS A PHYSCIALLY DEMANDING JOB THAT IS PERFECT FOR THOSE THAT LOVE TO BE ACTIVE AND ARE OKAY WITH LIFTING AND LOADING KAYAKS AND WORKING ON THE BEACH!
We are hiring for several positions available now, including both part time and full time.
Work in a fun, energetic environment at the beach! We are open seven days a week from 8:00AM until 8:30PM so scheduling is flexible! Shifts typically start between 8am-10:30am and as late as 2pm. Shifts vary from 4-6 or 6-8 hours. We are in need of people that can work weekends, but weekdays shifts are also available.
The job involves loading and unloading lots of kayaks, driving the company vehicles, helping customers launch kayaks in and out of the surf zone, reviewing the water map, cleaning equipment and following all the beach and boat launch rules. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID CALIFORNIA DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A GOOD DRIVING RECORD! THIS IS A VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING AND ACTIVE JOB!!!!!!
This a great place to work with an incredible staff in an outdoor industry. This job will provide great experience, leadership opportunities and is perfect for students that need to work around a school schedule.
We are ideally seeking candidates that are energetic, patient, polite, responsible and that enjoy being very physically active . You must have a driver's license and clean driving record. We prefer candidates that have weekend availability; however, we have weekday work available also. Candidates that are outdoor enthusiasts that have previous water/ocean experience and have problem solving skills are also preferred!
