Office Assistant Job Description
The Office Assistant is responsible for being an active, contributing team member with the goal of supporting the sales, construction and management departments while continuously providing superior customer service and showing professionalism with every person encountered. This position contributes to a team while promoting a positive attitude, developing an atmosphere for setting, meeting and exceeding goals, and encouraging all team members to be their best selves and provide a positive customer experience. This position is paid hourly.
Office Assistant Responsibilities
- Answers phones and greets walk-in customers
- Perform construction office administrative tasks such as, but not limited to: tracking subcontractor paperwork, inputting data for reports, filing documents, sorting mail, assisting with orders, and assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes
- Supports the sales team with tasks such as, but not limited to: processing orders to subcontractors, filing and tracking job permits, scheduling inspections as needed
- Ensures confidentiality of all sales and personnel information
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Uphold the Shamrock Buildings, LLC high set of standards and high level of professionalism, quality, and superior customer service
Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Be self-motivated, reliable, time-efficient worker with minimal supervision
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent and timely follow through
- Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- At least 1 year of construction background/knowledge; familiarity with construction terminology and basic specifications and permitting, preferred
- Quickbooks experience helpful

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
