Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Screen Printer to join our dynamic creative team. Duties
- Set up and prepare manual screen printing stations, including selecting screens, inks, and substrates for each project
- Mix and match ink colors accurately to achieve desired hues, applying color theory principles for optimal results
- Prepare screens by coating with emulsion, exposing, and developing images according to specifications
- Operate manual presses with precision to produce consistent prints on apparel, signage, or promotional items
- Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to ensure clarity, color accuracy, and alignment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning screens and equipment after each use
- Collaborate with design teams to understand artwork requirements and troubleshoot technical issues during production
Qualifications
- Prior Minimum 5 tears of experience in manual screen printing or related printmaking techniques is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of print processes, including emulsion coating, exposure, registration, and ink mixing
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign for preparing artwork files
- Knowledge of color theory and visual design principles to ensure vibrant and accurate prints
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and follow detailed instructions precisely
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
