Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Similar
- Licensure in Maryland as one of the following: LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, LGPC, or Resident in Counseling may be considered.
- Must have the ability to work remotely
- Evening and/or weekend availability
- Must have at least 6 months of experience providing telehealth and a strong comfort level with technology
- Must be accountable and collaborative
- Must have good written and oral communication skills and good organizational skills
- Must maintain organization, coworker, and client confidentiality and abide by the Data Privacy Act and the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act
- Classifications: Therapists are classified based on years of experience, supervision capabilities, and years employed by the organization
- Position may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document, and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills

Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The clinician is responsible for providing assessments, psychotherapy, group therapy, and treatment plans for a caseload inclusive of adults, adolescents, and/or families experiencing symptoms related to mental health
- Evaluate clients’ mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, and collaboration with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to clients, individually and/or in group sessions, to assist them in meeting their treatment goals
- Use evidence-based treatment approaches to provide quality care to assigned caseload
- Modify treatment interventions and approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients’ status, and every 6 months
- Submit billing and other related paperwork in a timely fashion
- Maintain all professional licensure(s) required and provide prompt cooperation with third-party credentialing for billing purposes
- Maintain up-to-date client and program records and submit all notes for services within 24 hours
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
- Maintain confidentiality of records related to clients’ treatment
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Working remotely, clinicians will be expected to proactively take ownership of key tasks and keep in regular communication with the team
