Commack Soccer League is seeking experienced Youth Soccer Travel Trainers to work with our competitive travel teams, including U9–U14 age groups and high-school-level teams.
We are looking for knowledgeable, professional coaches who can develop players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally while creating a positive, competitive environment.
Responsibilities
● Plan and conduct high-quality training sessions for competitive youth travel teams
● Work with players ranging from U9 through high-school level
● Develop players’ technical skills, tactical understanding, decision-making, and game awareness
● Prepare age-appropriate training sessions based on the developmental needs of each team
● Attend practifew, games and provide coaching and player development
● Communicate professionally with players, families, and club leadership
● Maintain a positive, challenging, and development-focused team environment
● Support Commack Soccer League’s overall player-development philosophy
Qualifications
● Significant experience coaching competitive youth soccer
● Experience working with U9–U14 and/or high-school-level players
● USSF coaching license preferred; D License or higher strongly preferred
● Strong understanding of player development and modern soccer methodology
● Excellent communication and organizational skills
● Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively with youth athletes
● Ability to provide constructive feedback and motivate players
● Previous experience with travel, academy, ECNL, MLS NEXT, EDP, or similar competitive environments is a plus
