Now Hiring: Massage Therapist — Clinical Pain Relief Practice
Body Balance Therapeutic Massage is the only massage practice in the New River Valley specializing in pain relief, and we're looking for a licensed massage therapist who wants to do real clinical work, not just relaxation sessions.
We help active adults and seniors recover from injury, manage chronic pain, and stay mobile and independent through structured, outcome-driven treatment programs. If you're passionate about therapeutic massage and want to build real clinical skill in a supportive, growth-focused environment, we'd love to talk.
This is a clinical role, not a spa role. Our therapists work from assessments, follow treatment protocols, and track client progress toward measurable outcomes. No fluffy robes, no upsells, no generic relaxation menu; just skilled, intentional bodywork that gets results.
Position Details:
- Part-time to start (15 hrs/week minimum), with room to grow into full-time as availability expands
- Flexible scheduling — openings include weekday mornings, Friday evenings, and weekend shifts (Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue track available for therapists who want a full client load on alternative days)
- $12.77/hr base pay + $30/service hour + performance bonuses

What We're Looking For:
- Current Virginia massage therapy license (or pending graduation/licensing)
- Strong understanding of anatomy and kinesiology
- Genuine interest in therapeutic, clinical massage over spa-style relaxation work
- Willingness to learn assessment-driven treatment and follow structured protocols
- Team-oriented, compassionate, and growth-minded
No clinical experience necessary if you have the right attitude and a desire to learn, we'll provide the clinical training to get you there.
