Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL Driver specializing in Side Dump, Dump Truck, and Roll-Off Dumpster operations. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely operating various heavy-duty trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and waste efficiently across multiple sites. Your expertise in commercial driving, coupled with mechanical knowledge and manual transmission skills, will ensure smooth delivery and pickup processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to construction, demolition, and waste management projects while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including side dump, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, and flatbed trailers to load, transport, and unload materials.
- Load and unload materials manually or using appropriate equipment such as front loaders or roll-off containers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Drive tractor-trailers and heavy-duty trucks over short or long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, maintenance needs, and mileage logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting techniques required for loading/unloading operations.
- Delivery driver experience in construction or waste management industries is preferred.
- Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks and heavy machinery.
