What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform general automotive repairs including brakes, steering/suspension, water pumps, cooling systems, timing belts/chains, and fluid maintenance.
- Perform initial vehicle inspections (DVIs) using Tekmetric to identify safety and maintenance needs.
- Handle medium-level electrical and drivability diagnostics (with support from our Lead Techs on complex cases).
- Assist Lead Techs with major teardowns or engine/transmission prep when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience (independent shop or dealership).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in general mechanical repair, brake service, suspension, and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Productivity: Ability to bill 25 to 35+ flat-rate hours per week cleanly and accurately.
- Tools: Full set of personal hand tools and basic power/air tools (specialty tools provided by shop).
- Attitude: Dependable, eager to learn, and team-oriented. Zero room for shop drama.
