We are a busy pain management, orthopedic, and physical therapy office seeking a reliable and organized Case Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate must be professional, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced medical office environment. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and experience working with patients, attorneys, insurance companies, and medical providers.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing patient cases from start to finish
- Communicating with patients, attorneys, insurance companies, and provider offices
- Updating patient charts, memos, and case notes accurately
- Following up on authorizations, treatment status, medical records, and appointments
- Assisting with Workers’ Compensation, No-Fault, and lien patient cases
- Coordinating with the front desk, billing department, medical assistants, and providers
- Ensuring patient files are organized and up to date
- Helping track compliance, missed appointments, and follow-up care
- Handling high-volume phone calls and emails professionally
Requirements:
- Prior medical office experience preferred
- Case management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault preferred
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Must be organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Must be able to handle a busy office environment
