We are seeking contract to hire senior CNC Machinists and CNC Lathe Operators to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and performing machining operations on CNC equipment while maintaining high-quality standards and producing precision parts.
The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, understand GD&T, perform machine setups, and troubleshoot machining and tooling issues. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and maintaining tight tolerances in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Load programs, edit offsets, and make adjustments as needed
- Perform tooling changes and troubleshoot machining issues
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow work instructions
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas organized
- Meet production and quality goals
Shift Options Available:
- 2nd Shift Night shift: work hours are 4/10 hour days, Monday-Thursday,
- Weekend shift: work hours are 3/12 hour days, Friday-Sunday
