Our Parts Department is a key driver of our Fixed Operations success—supporting technicians, service advisors, and customers with the right parts, at the right time, every time. We are actively seeking an experienced Ford Parts Counterperson who understands Ford parts systems, cataloging, and dealership workflow.
We are specifically looking for a Ford Parts Counterperson with hands-on Ford parts experience to join our team.
The Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting technicians, service advisors, and retail/wholesale customers with accurate Ford parts identification, ordering, and fulfillment. This role is essential to maintaining efficient workflow in our service department and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will already have Ford parts experience (CDK/Dealertrack or Ford PTS catalog familiarity preferred) and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume dealership environment.
Assist technicians and service advisors with Ford parts identification, sourcing, and ordering
Work directly within Ford parts catalog systems to locate correct OEM parts
Process parts orders accurately for retail, wholesale, and internal repair orders
Maintain accurate inventory control and stock organization
Receive, inspect, stock, and label incoming Ford parts shipments
Communicate with Ford and aftermarket vendors regarding availability and ETAs
Maintain accuracy in dealership management systems (DMS)
Support monthly and cycle inventory counts
Ensure department cleanliness, organization, and efficiency standards
Provide excellent customer service in all parts-related interactions
Prior Ford dealership parts experience strongly required (preferred over general parts experience)
Familiarity with Ford parts cataloging systems and OEM processes
Experience in automotive parts counter role (Ford brand highly preferred)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced fixed operations environment
Basic computer and DMS proficiency (CDK, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Team-oriented and dependable work ethic
Valid driver’s license required
Compensation based on Ford parts experience, knowledge level, and overall qualifications
