Independent Pet Supply (IPS) is a family-owned business that has been caring for the health and well-being of pets & people for 30+ years. With a commitment to excellence and a customer-centric approach, we have established ourselves as a leader in our field. Our delivery team is seeking a self-motivated, friendly, dedicated and flexible individual to join our team.
We’re hiring a full-time truck driver who will be delivering pet food and supplies from the Tri-Cities, WA to Missoula, MT.
You’ll report directly to the General Manager, but primarily work with the Logistics & Customer Support Coordinator and Sales Team to ensure our customers satisfaction.
You will:

You Have:
- Delivery driving experience: 1 year (required)
- Comfortability driving for extended periods of time
- Comfortability working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, and noise while working around moving industrial equipment and/or elevated stations
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to receive feedback and work well with others
- Experience driving a 22-26 ft box truck in metro areas
- Experience operating an electric pallet jack, material handling equipment, and/or powered industrial equipment
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Excellent driving record-must provide driver abstract
- Have a current Medical Card or will provide proof within 30 days of hire
- Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Able to work overtime when required, and/or weekends when required
- Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide on calculator
- Excellent Attendance History
- Flexible attitude
- Ability to lift 65 lbs. to waist height throughout workday
- Ability to lift 45 lbs. over your head throughout workday
- Able to perform all job responsibilities of a driver for a light-medium duty route/environment
- Willing to work until the job is done
Shifts, Pay, and Benefits:
- Remote work - No
- Delivery area - Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western Montana
- Full-time Tuesday through Friday
- Start times and days may vary for holidays or special deliveries
- Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
- Benefits:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance – full time employees are eligible to participate after their first 60 days - 70% employer contribution
- PTO after 90 days (Vacation Pay, Sick Pay, Holiday Pay - 180 days)
- Matching 401K after 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
- PIE equipment operator certification
- First Aid certification
