Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Golf Cart Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of golf carts and related electric or gas-powered vehicles. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Conduct mechanical repairs including brake adjustments, suspension work, engine repairs, and assembly of parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair automotive engine systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems with precision.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake servicing, and suspension adjustments.
- Identify issues related to all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and powersports engine systems; perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain detailed records of service procedures, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced.
- Ensure safety standards are upheld during all repair activities; lift heavy components as needed for repairs or assembly.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and offering maintenance advice.
- Assist in the sales process by recommending parts or services that meet customer needs when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on automotive or powersports vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive engine system repair and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, including troubleshooting electrical systems and soldering skills.
- Experience using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with all-terrain vehicle repair, motorcycle operation, suspension work, brake repair, welding, and assembly tasks.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and heavy lifting safely; comfortable working with power tools and hand tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols; mechanic experience preferred.
- Additional certifications in automotive repair or welding are a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
